Armin Navabi

Armin Navabi is an Iranian-born atheist activist, author, and public speaker known for his work in promoting secularism and challenging religious dogma. He is the founder of Atheist Republic, one of the largest online communities for atheists worldwide, providing a platform for secular discussion, activism, and support. Raised in a devout Muslim household, Navabi once aspired to deepen his faith but later renounced religion after extensive research and personal reflection, becoming an outspoken critic of religious institutions and doctrines.

Navabi is a frequent guest on podcasts, debates, and panel discussions, where he addresses topics such as the impact of religion on human rights, free speech, and political structures. He has also written extensively on the struggles faced by ex-Muslims and religious dissenters, particularly in countries where apostasy is punishable by law. His advocacy work focuses on defending freedom of thought and encouraging rational skepticism in societies influenced by religious fundamentalism.
