Bart Sibrel

Bart Sibrel is an American filmmaker, author, and investigative journalist best known for his work challenging the official narrative of the Apollo moon landings. He gained widespread attention for producing the documentary A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon, in which he argues that the U.S. government staged the moon landings during the Cold War to win the space race against the Soviet Union. His confrontational approach in attempting to interview astronauts, including an infamous encounter where Buzz Aldrin punched him, has made him a controversial figure in the conspiracy research community.

Beyond the moon landing theories, Sibrel has written extensively about government deception, media manipulation, and secret agendas. His work is often discussed in alternative media circles, where he presents his research on suppressed information and what he believes to be inconsistencies in official space exploration history. While his claims are widely dismissed by mainstream scientists and historians, he remains a prominent figure among those questioning NASA’s historical accounts.
