Damien Echols is an author, artist, and speaker best known as one of the West Memphis Three, a group of teenagers wrongfully convicted of murder in 1994. After spending 18 years on death row, he was released in 2011 following new DNA evidence and legal efforts that cast doubt on the original trial. Since his release, he has become an advocate for criminal justice reform and has shared his experiences of surviving incarceration through books such as Life After Death and High Magick.
Echols has also become a prominent teacher of ceremonial magick, drawing from Hermetic, Kabbalistic, and occult traditions. He teaches about the transformative power of spiritual practice, using techniques he developed while in prison to cope with extreme isolation. His work focuses on self-empowerment, energy work, and mystical traditions, which he presents through books, workshops, and online courses.
